Red Flags and Warning Signs
Because some important information was left out of the legal papers, we are not even sure where this company is located. We found two regulatory warnings against this platform after a little research.
Specifically, BitGamo does not have the required AML and KYC rules in place, which means that users can purchase and sell cryptocurrency on the exchange without having to register or have any paperwork or information verified. This led the Luxembourg-based Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) to reveal the BitGamo cryptocurrency exchange’s fraudulent operations.
The alert was first published on November 10 of this year, and five days later, the Spanish CNMV regulator swiftly reprinted it. Local merchants have been warned by financial watchdogs not to trust the exchange because of the website’s lack of basic business regulations and anonymity.

A quick search online reveals a plethora of negative reviews and complaints against BitGamo. Users allege difficulties withdrawing funds, unresponsive customer support, and manipulative trading practices that lead to significant losses.
